Baby Has Dry Skin? Eczema?

I have a 5 1/2 month old son. About a week ago I noticed a small rash-like area on his tummy. Since then it has spread to his shoulders and back. It's patchy and rough. I don't know if it's just dry skin? I usually bathe him everyday, so I don't know if it's just too much bathing. Or if it's from the COLD weather. I live in North Idaho and it's been quite cold lately. He's only outside on the weekends, so I'm not sure if the cold weather would be causing it. What is baby eczema? Does that sound like what he has? I would...

Hey Moms, i need some help. i have a 1 yr old that has gotten his first diaper rash. He got it really bad. He has been having runny stools and i believe it is from his 4 teeth that came in this week. I need to know how to help it. I have been using Boudrouxs (SP)? Butt Paste. It is great. But he has gotten blisters with this rash. He just started drinking whole organic milk this month and i don"t know if the runny stools is from the milk or the teeth. Could be both. Excema and Poor Sleep Habits

Hello fellow mamas! I am going a little bit crazy with sleep deprivation. My daughter has excema and wakes up very frequently scratching herself, at least every 2 hours throught the night, if not more. She really resists sleeping at all, the only way I can get her to sleep, or back to sleep is nursing. Rash Under the Armpit and Under arm..Help!!!

I have been working out for over a month now. I.have developed a bumpy rash in my armpit and under my biceps. I have tried vaseline, corn starch,hydrocord. Cream. The dermatologist face me hydrocos gel which has a steroid in it. I have used it for 3 days twice a day and i still am itchy and hurting.. any advice????_please. I'm in a wedding.next weekend

Help for Eczema??

My daughter is 2-yrs-old and has horrible eczema! We have tried everything from aquaphor to crisco...literally. The poor baby bites at her feet because they itch so badly. The creases of her arms flare up constantly, her legs are covered with spots of the rash, and her feet are so cracked from her itching. She breaks out everywhere except her face. What can I do? Topicals the doctor has prescribed haven't helped at all. I feel so sorry for her. Please help!!!

My 6 Yr Old's Eczema Is Awful!

We use Aquaphor, hydra-cortisone cream as well as cream prescribed by her doctor - but her eczema is so persistent! We use 'free' detergent, no fabric softener, and she showers instead of taking a bath, so the shampoo and soaps (also FREE) do not sit on her skin. We've had her tested for allergies - nothing. Dermatologist is next! Any advice? And now that the warmer months are coming, any sunscreen recommendations? Thanks!
