Does anyone have any secrets to losing weight safely while nursing? I gained about 50lbs while I was pregnant. I lost about 30 the first few months but the last 20lbs seem to still hang on. Do you know of any good books to read, websites to look at, special recipes, fitness programs to join, etc.? Any suggestions would be a great help.

My daughter is 16 months old and still breastfeeding, in addition to eating 'adult' food. She can drink from a sippy cup or bottle, and has started drinking cow's milk at school. Love my baby girl and have no problem leting her sleep in our bed. My man has not complained at all. But I know he is not really happy with it. It is just that I can get more sleep by feeding her when she wakes up and not have to get up at night. She does not sleep in her crib at all (maybe 5-6 times).
