Doc Says to Start Rice Cereal at 4 Mo

Hi moms, At my son's 4 month check up appt this morning, the doctor recommended starting rice cereal. I'm just a bit weary of this and here is why.... Brayden was born 3 1/2 weeks early, and I have noticed in the last few months that he is slightly behind in his developmental milestones- Not anything to worry about as he catches up quickly. 6 Mo. Old with Bad Exzema?

My daughter has really bad looking "patches" of dry, red skin on her face [mainly on her cheeks]. I've tried Aveeno Baby lotion [for exzema] and her pediatrician said to use 1% hydrocortizone cream, but i thought it might be too strong. It doesn't seem to bug her much. but it looks painful. :/ Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks, C. H.

Temporary Weaning to Formula

Suddenly Afraid of Baths!!

My 22 month old son is suddenly scared of baths! This used to be one of his favorite activities. It has gradually gotten worse. The first we noticed of it was last week. One Year Old with Exzema

Hi, my daughter was recently diagnosed with a mild form of exzema. My pedi recommended that I use Aveeno, but it has not helped. I thought that it could just be from the chlorine (she went to swimming lessons for 6 weeks), but the lessons are over and her legs still itch her like crazy. I obviously do not want to keep reapplying steroid creams to her skin. Does anyone know of anything else I could use to help her itchy legs? Thanks so much!

I Feel like I'm Going Crazy

The past few weeks have been tough. My hubby is working crazy crazy hours and is gone 14+ hours a day leaving me and the kiddo at home. How Often Take a Bath for a 3 y.o. Going to Preschool Every Day??

Hello, My kid at just over 3 years old is going to preschool every morning (8 - 12:30) Mon thru Fri. They do outside play including sand box, play gears etc. for about an hour and the rest is indoor activities. New Crawler with Rug Burns

My 9 month old just started crawling this month. Since it is warm out we have been putting him into shorts. The trouble is his legs are getting rug burn and are really red from his knees to his toes. He sometimes favors one leg because the other hurts. I have been applying Baby Aveeno and Aquaphor. Is there anything else I can do or do we just wait until his legs "toughen" up?

I Need Advice on Teething

My 7month old twins are teething... they both have low grade fevers & runny noses. I have heard this is normal and that this isnt normal. What is your experience? We have called their Pediatrician and they recomended not bringing them in unless their temp gets to 103.0 we have given them tylenol every 6 hours for the fever, we give them cool baths when we can and have been putting wet washclothes on their foreheads/back of their necks.
