Relief from Yeast Infection

Talked to doctor and was prescribed diflucan (had 2 doses, 7 days apart) which didn't clear up infection. Now using otc monistat 7 for yeast infection, but itching is unbearable. Vagisil helps for brief few hours but the itching is constant all day and night. I started eating yogurt and taking a Culturelle pill daily. Does anyone have any suggestions/medications/remedies to help alleviate the itching until the infection is gone?

Does He Have A.D.H.D? Does Medication Really Help??

My son is 12 and a half and doing very poorly in school. He sometimes says the wrong things at the wrong time (tries to be funny and act like the class clown) and doesn't care if he's off task and gets himself in trouble. Otherwise he can be very fun and easy going, though lately he's been very negative. He's always had challenges completing assignments with chores and school work, but I know he's capable. It seems to me he can do it but choses not to. He's smart, loves to read LENGTHLY books, etc, but I can't seem to get him to care about...

Advice? Allergic to Something in Home?

Hi! For the past month or so I have been having a lot of sore throats followed by congestion (and snoring) at night, major nose blowing in the morning, and then it all clears out for the rest of the day, but starts up again in the evening. I have realized that the sore throat only starts when I am at home, but always comes on when ever I get home and lasts until late the following morning. I figured it was just allergies, but the pattern is telling me that i am allergic to something in my house. I am looking to all of you wonderful...

Need Advice on a Diaper or Washable Underwear for Bed-wetting Child

I need advice on a VERY absorbent diaper, pull-up, or washable underwear for my son who is almost 5. As a child I wet the bed until I was almost 12, so I am concerned that my son will have the same problem. So far he does not seem upset about wetting the bed, but lately his pull-ups have been leaking almost every night. I have tried pampers super absorbent diapers size 5, Pull-ups, underjams, as well as underjams with a Gerber 3T plastic absorbent potty training underwear on top. We have also tried waking him up to go to the bathroom...

Organic Recipes for Cancer

Hi all, I am hoping you can help me out here. A good friend of mine just found her hubby has cancer and can only eat organic foods most of which being chicken. Do you have any great recipes that you use? How about a great way to make the foods last longer? (no pesticides make them go bad fast) Anyone have luck with organic foods?

14-Month-old Is Constipated

My 14-month-old son is constipated a few times a week. I have been in contact a few times with the pediatrician's office and am doing everything I can. This started when he was switched over from formula to whole milk. Also, he does not drink much water. I am always forcing it on him, but he won't drink much. I give him prunes or blueberries to eat, make his baby cereal with prune juice, give him whole grain foods, etc. I also water down his milk and occasionally put Karo syrup in his milk. He still has problems with constipation. ...

Milk Supply Going Down

I have a 5 month old daughter that I have breast fed since she was born. I went back to work 2.5 months ago, so I pump 3 times a day for 20 minutes each to get milk for her while I'm at work. It seems that this week my milk supply has been cut in half. I am doing everything the same but I am just not getting the amount of milk I used to. Between my 3 pumping sessions I would get 17-20oz, she eats 15oz a day in the time that I am gone, but this week I am lucky to get 10oz. I thought that maybe I was getting dehydrated but I have been...

Organic and Natural Diet for My Epileptic Daughter

I could use some help. My daughter, who is now 8 years old, was diagonosed with epilepsy about 5 years ago. Although the medication is working during the day, she still has a lot of breakthrough seizures at night. In the research I have done, I have found many types of processed foods, and artificial ingredients that can trigger seizure activity. I am in the process of transforming our diet into an "all natural"one. Where I could use your help is the "how too." I need to find a place to shop that is affordable. I know that king...
