How to Handle Grandma Being Very Ill
My husband's mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in September. She went through chemo and was able to spend two weeks at Christmas with us, it was a great time. She returned to Florida in early January and has since been diagnosed with brain cancer, she is currently undergoing radiation, but the outlook is not hopeful. We are trying to decide it we should take the kids to Florida to see her (my husband is there now and says she doesn't look good). We have a 3 year old and a 5 year old.
