Ear Infection or Just Ear Aches?

DD is 6 and had a ear infection in Feb which required 2 rounds of antibiotics to clear.Then Monday she complain of ear ache,took her to the pedi and no ear infection. Yesterday she complaint of it again so I gave her Motrin and put a drop of peroxide( which she said it itch) Her pedi is close and I'm going to have to take her to the ER cause we have a busy weekend and I want to make sure its not an infection. So what could this be if is not an infection?

Ear Drops Burning.

My son is 6 years old. Has had 2 sets of tubes. Just a few months ago they fell out. I am not sure if they both did, I know one did. Anyways, since it has fallen out he has had several ear infections. I asked my child's doctor to refer him to an ear nose and throat doctor... Well he said I can't do that right now b/c he hasn't had that many ear infections... My child complains that he can't hear as well in one ear as he does the other.
