Cold, Runny Nose Advice

My 18 month old has her first cold. She has a runny nose, and drainage that made her gag and throw up a little last night. I could hear that she has a lot of drainage and was having trouble breathing through her nose. I have been SO very lucky that she has been a very healthy child. She just started in a Mother's Day Out program, so I am sure she'll begin to pick up more germs. Can anyone give me advice on alleviating cold symptoms and what to watch for, in terms of this moving to an ear infection? Should I use the humidifier? Vapor rub?...

Childbirth and Head Cold

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has had the misfortune of being sick during the delivery of your baby. I am inducing this Sunday and I have a head cold that is really bothering me. Nasal congestion and coughing. I am a little nervous about being sick and being around my new baby....I am sure they will give me a mask to where when I am holding her. My 5 Year Old Has Excema

My 5 year old daughter has excema. When she was an infant, it was so bad that she has scratches all over her face. She was reffered to a determatologist. He gave me some cream w/a prescription in it. This does not help her at all. We have controlled the dryness on her scalp by using T-gel ut her skin is still very dry.
