Frequent Waking in 4-Month-Old Baby

Hello! My daughter just turned four months old and is waking several times throughout the night (anywhere from a few times to almost hourly). She was like this as an infant until we bought the Miracle Blanket swaddler. She then began sleeping through the night (10-hour stretches!). I've read that most babies should be weaned from swaddling around 3 to 4 months, so we stopped swaddling her, and she just does not sleep well without it. 5 Month Old Breastfed Baby, Sleep Issues, Formula and Miracle Blanket

I think I may have a unique problem that is a combination of breastfeeding, swaddling, sleep, and sanity... My 5 month old daughter Isabella was never a great sleeper. She cluster fed from the beginning and if it wasn't for the pump I think I would have either given up breastfeeding or jumped off a bridge! Miracle Blanket Users - When Did You Stop Using It?

My daughter just turned 6 months old and still sleeps wrapped up tightly in her miracle blanket. Wondering when your kids wrestled free. (My oldest used Miracle blankets until about 5 months and always woke up with it sort of loosely wrapped in place until she finally broke free -- then we dropped it cold turkey. I have a 3 1/2 month old that we are still swaddling during naps and nighttime. She sleeps great if she stays in the swaddle but if she breaks free, which happens a lot especially during the night, she wakes right up. My husband and I keep going back and forth trying to decide whether or not we just need to stop the swaddling since she is obviously strong enough and persisitent enough to work to get out of it. My daughter is 7 months 3 weeks and we still swaddle her. We have been swaddling her in her crib since day 1 from the hospital. We lucked out and she has always been a good sleeper. I have never nursed or bottle fed her to sleep. She eats at least an hour before bed or any of her naps. Unfortunately she and I are addicted to swaddling.
