6 Year Old Son Acts Socially Immature but Is Above Average in School
My 6 year old son is an only child. He is very bright and does above average in school. Most days at school he has good behavior but about every 8 school days he gets in trouble. Some weeks it's all five days..... We work constantly on encouraging good behavior and letting him know what is expected from him. Yes, there are consequences for bad behavior (we've tried several) and rewards for good behavior. He knows how to mind he just does it when he wants to. Consequences don't seem to bother him. He seems to be very immature...
