My son is 6 weeks old and loves to sleep on my chest to nap or at night. When I put him in his basinet (asleep) he wakes himself up and cries. I have tried to sing to him, I have kept my hands on his chest, I have swadeled him, and not swadeled him...pacifying does not work either. I am loosing sleep because of him sleeping with me...any suggestions?

Hi everyone. I have a 7 week old baby girl that refuses to sleep in her crib. She likes to fall asleep while she's being held but then wakes up as soon as I try to transfer her. Sometimes I have to hold her for up to an hour or more before she's 'asleep' enough to be put down. My other dilemma is that once I do put her down I know she will be awake and fussy within an hour.
