Talked to doctor and was prescribed diflucan (had 2 doses, 7 days apart) which didn't clear up infection. Now using otc monistat 7 for yeast infection, but itching is unbearable. Vagisil helps for brief few hours but the itching is constant all day and night. I started eating yogurt and taking a Culturelle pill daily. Does anyone have any suggestions/medications/remedies to help alleviate the itching until the infection is gone?

Hi there, I'm not the most organized mommy when it comes to having toiletries for my kids. Has anyone struggled with thrush not clearing up? I am breastfeeding and have been treating thrush for myself and my son for 2 weeks with Nystatin (him) and Lotrimin (me).
