Introducing Milk to My 1 Year Old

We just started introducing milk to my 1 year old. We have been mixing it with his formula. But lately he seems sooo fussy. I dont know if he is teething, has a cold or if it is because of the milk (maybe not filling enough) Has anyone ever delt with this before? Also, I am trying to get him to stop drinking out of the bottle. He knows how to drink from a sippy cup but he just takes a little and then throws it. Any advice on this??? (Currently using Avent training sippy cup, but have tried many other sippy cups)

Avent or Born Free Bottles???

I am due to have my 2nd baby in January and I can't decide which bottles to use. I will be breastfeeding as long as possible but will still need bottles. I used Avent with my 1st daughter and liked them (that was before the info on BPA came out). I was going to switch to Born free but Avent now makes BPA free. I am also concerned with which bottle will reduce gas the most. I just can't seem to make a decision - any suggestions???

BPA In Avent Tempo Liners

After trying several bottles, my daughter loved the Avent bottles (and I liked that they were easy to clean and she hardly had any gas). I was horrified to find out that Avent bottles leached the most BPA. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time switching to BPA-free bottles (baby girl just won't take other bottles or she's had bad gas). Constipation Causing Formula

My daughter is almost a month and though I am mostly breastfeeding, I had to supplement with formula, to get her weight up. The problem is now she is constipated and I understand that the formula is the culprit. We are trying Kayro syrup, but so far it isn't helping. I am using Nestle Good Start Formula with Iron. Is there another formula, perhaps, Soy, that may not cause the constipation? Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Feedback on Avent Breast Pump

Hi Moms. Have any of you used the Avent iQ duo electric breast pump? If so, please let me know your opinions. Does it come with a battery pack or bag? I don't necessarily NEED those things, but just curious. I cannot afford the Medela pump, and we have Avent bottle that we used with our first and plan on using with our second (who is coming soon - yah!)
