Lands End Backpacks

Have you ever bought one? How did it hold up? How long did it last? How old are your kids, or the person who used it? I saw in a catalog that they have ones for young kids, all the way up to college. I suppose it is for durability for the big books and all. I was considering buying them for my kids this year, a high schooler and middle schooler, but wanted to know what you thought of them. I did buy Swiss Gear in the past and the last one lasted about 3 years but I liked the different colors and patterns that Lands End offers.

Car Seat for Young Toddler

We are searching for a car seat that will be the last one we buy. Here are the criteria we're looking to match: converts to a booster, under $200, AND (the biggie) has straps that are long enough to accommodate a winter coat. We just bought the Graco Nautilus but found that it is too tight for our 20 lb tiny daughter in her winter coat with the straps at the lowest shoulder level. Tips for Going Through Security/boarding Aircraft with Ten Month Old Busy Boy...

It'll just be my son Mason and I traveling this time. We have flown before, but Daddy was there to help with going through security and boarding. I'll have my son, a convertible car seat, a smaller stroller, and a couple of small bags. Any tips? My son is very mobile and can walk quite a distance along, and he's off 'running' every time I set him down. I'm just wondering how to handle everything if I'm not offered any help...thanks! Your Favorite Toys & Books for a 1 Year-old

Hi moms, what are your favorite toys and board books for a 1 year-old? We have some Karen Katz books that my DD destroyed so I'm looking for some titles of sturdier lift-the-flap books as well as other cute board books. Also, do you know of any clothing labels that make very simple, modern, all cotton baby clothes without any ruffles, bows, embroidery, etc.? I just want something very plain, like the basics at BabyStyle. Thanks for your help.
