Looking for a good charity or somewhere [besides Goodwill or Salvation Army or any other type of place where people have to pay for them] to donate baby clothes that have hardly been worn.

I have a group of friends who used to get together about twice a month and do a major clothing exchange. Everyone would clean out their closets, and take all the clothes to someones house (changed each time) where the "hosting" mom would sort them by size & gender. Hosting is a bonus because you got first dibs on the sizes you need. Anyway, one night everyone would come and take what clothes they needed - first come, first serve. Whatever was left over after that was taken to a charity. It is a fun and cheap way to replenish the clothes you are giving away.
The funnest part is seeing your kids clothes being used by someone else. I found that my kids have really learned from this experience too and now when my 5 yr old grows out of something she asks if she can give it to one of her friends.
Please check out the Shade Tree and The Courtney Foundation. These are the children that will really need the clothes!!.
Shade Tree is a shelter for abused women and children. I believe they are always looking for donations. I would also guess that Child Haven, the program ran by Clark County, would gladly accept donations as well.
If you don't find anything local and can mail them, Newborns In Need is a great charity. They help sick and needy infants. There isn't a chapter in Nevada yet - I think the closest one is San Diego. Here's the info:

I know you can give them to Shade Tree (a women's homeless shelter) by calling and then dropping them off during the day. Safe Nest is also a good choice (battered women's shelter - they have drop boxes all over town, just call them). My other suggestion is Child Haven. I don't know how difficult it is to donate there but I do know they are really overrun with kids right now. All of these organizations will distribute the clothes to kids that need them.
SafeNest is a charity for battered women/children that are always in need of baby clothes. Probably also Child Haven which is overwhelmed with children and babies right now.
C. in Las Vegas
Angels In The Valley is a local non-profit that distributes gently used baby and children's clothing to families in need. All donations stay in Clark County, NV and are given free of charge. This is an all volunteer organization. Your donation is tax-deductible.
Donate to Opportunity Village downtown. They charge 25 to 50 cents for little kids clothing and will give it free if someone cant pay.
a site called GumdropSwap (http://gumdropswap.com). You can swap/donate from anywhere in the US by sending the clothes your kids outgrow to this kids boutique in CT. They give you points to shop on the website and send you a box of clothes that fit your kids. I've been a member for about 6 months and became friends with the owner because I was in there so much, lol. They donate to good causes in the local area
Safenest is a great place; they are always overlooked.
Have you thought about maybe going to craigslist and just advertising that you have some to give away to someone in need? If you would prefer to just donate http://www.hud.gov/local/nv/homeless/shelters.cfm could probably use them. They house a lot of pregnant homeless woman and I am sure they would be happy to have them. Hope this helps.
