Cold, Runny Nose Advice

My 18 month old has her first cold. She has a runny nose, and drainage that made her gag and throw up a little last night. I could hear that she has a lot of drainage and was having trouble breathing through her nose. I have been SO very lucky that she has been a very healthy child. She just started in a Mother's Day Out program, so I am sure she'll begin to pick up more germs. Can anyone give me advice on alleviating cold symptoms and what to watch for, in terms of this moving to an ear infection? Should I use the humidifier? Vapor rub?...

Toddler with Cough

What do you do for a 2 year old with a really bad cough. Well actually, the cough itself is not that bad or that frequent. It's just that my son will gag from I guess the mucus coming up with the cough and then he will projectile vomit. I know I can't give him any of the childrens' cold and cough medicine. I tried Hyland's cold and cough for kids today which is supposed to be all natural and safe, but it didn't do anything for the cough. Any suggestions? I hate seeing him get so upset!

How to Brake a Fever

I have a one year old that has had a fever for 2 days,I have not been able to break it . She was at the hosptial today and she has a Upper respiratory infection. 8 Mo Old with Sniffles and No Appetite

Hello Ladies My 8 mo old son has just come down with his first cold. We are on day 3 now. First day he had low fever 101.5, then 100.5.
