Take him to the jump zone thing in the Parks Mall in Arlington. While you're there, you could ride the carousel for $2. :)
I'm taking the day off to spend with my precious 3-year-old tomorrow! I had planned on the zoo/pumpkin farm, but scattered showers in the a.m. are in the forecast. Thought about going to see the Lion King, but showings don't start until the early afternoon and of course that is nap time. Can you think of anything to take him to do in the a.m. for a few hours?? Thanks!

maybe the science ft worth museum and a little lunch in the place he likes or take him to pump it up .
The Ft. Worth Museum is fabulous!
If you want to drive to Grapevine Mills, there is the new Legoland Discovery Center and the Aquarium right next to it. I bet he would love it! My boys are 1, 3, and 6 and have been begging me to take them. If you get combined tickets online they are cheaper than at the door. Here's the link:

At the bottom it says Save when you buy together and has both the aquarium and discovery center.
