Cleaning Adhesive Residue off Wood Furniture

You can use alcohol without damaging the wood, just don't rub it too hard. One thing I have also done is use a hair dryer to heat up the residue. It makes it a bit easier to peel off the heaviest and then alcohol to get off the remaining. I used this on our doors because a tenant let his daughter put stickets all over the door.

One thing to watch for it what type of varnish is on the wood. If it is a natural wood finish, anything oily could leave marks.

Peanut butter. Put a thin layer on and let it sit for 30 minutes. Use a paper towel to wipe off, and then use some Windex to clean off the oily residue.

Have you tried alcohol or Goof-Off? Goof Off is supposed to work on just about anything but I'd try it on a small area first just in case if you decide on that. Alcohol works good to on most adhesives. Hope this helps. Good luck!

If its wood furniture, use olive oil! Not only will it take the sticker off, olive oil is perfect for conditioning wood.
