Hi moms, At my son's 4 month check up appt this morning, the doctor recommended starting rice cereal. I'm just a bit weary of this and here is why.... Temporary Weaning to Formula

My exclusively breastfed 6 month old son has had severe eczema for over 3 months now, and we don't know which way to turn. Can Prolonged Use of Hydrocortisone Cream Affect Growth of Child?

Hello moms. My 18 month old boy has chronic eczema since he was 6 months old and have been using a hydrocortisone cream prescribed by our pediatrician. We have been applying this cream, a 2.5% formulation cream since he was an infant with varying degrees of eczema relief. He has needed it on a daily basis and we have been applying it twice a day to his ankles, wrists and behind the knee--the areas that are affected. We also use Aquaphor and pretoleum jelly emollients to relieve his dry skin. We have not asked our pediatrician though...

My 15 Weeks Old Has Severe Eczema on Face - HELP!!

We are now on formula number 4 per our pediatrician to see if allergy related - from Enfamil Newborn, to Gentleease to Soy and now on a hypoallogenic one. His face seemed to get better on day 2 of the switch but by third day was looking bad as ever - the doc was even worried at last appt that it had become infected. He also has some dry spots on body but nothing as bad as his face and back of head. We are using Tide Free to clean his clothes. My daughter has suffered with extreme exzema since she was 6 months old. She is currently on zyrtec and occasional steroid creams. Tiny Bumps All over Tummy

My family took a vacation last week where we stayed in a cabin and on the last day, I noticed tiny little bumps on my 2 yr old's back. The next day, my 3 yr old had them all over his tummy. They slept in the same room. No one else in the family has these tiny bumps. They are not complaining of itching or anything. It's now 4 days later (and we're home) and the bumps have not gone away. Could this be from bed bugs? I've heard of them, but not sure if this is it. Any suggestions are appreciated.
