Suggestions Needed for 16 Month Sleeping Habits.

I have a 16 month old girl who will not sleep in her own bed. We have a nighttime routine that is very similar to the ones that I see posted on this website a lot. She has had this routine since she was about 3 months old. My husband and I put her to sleep and as soon as we lay her down in her bed she starts crying. I have tried letting her cry (it worked the first 3 nights), but now she screams and cries until she has no voice the next day. 17 Month Old Toddler All of a Sudden Cry's to Sleep in Crib

I have always had a hard time getting my son to sleep on his own, but at about 12 months old he would finally go down in his crib without to much of a fuss. I dont know what worked but I tried everything, crying it out, sleeping on the floor in his room...It has been so nice the past 7 months, I lay would lay him down at 8pm and he would just go to sleep with no problem, unless he was sick or teething. For some reason last week he stopped, he now scream's and cry's to go in his crib! I cant figure it out! He freaks out and will not stop...
