Who do you recommend to take out wisdom teeth. My son is 17 and the dentist says it's time.

We had our consultation with Dr. Craig yesterday. My son and I REALLY liked him. We made the appointment to get his wisdom teeth out before we left. I feel very comfortable with the whole process. He explained everything and told us what to expect before, during and after. Very nice!!

I never had my wisdom teeth removed. I actually had a haitus from the dentist from age 18 to 30 until I was married and covered under my wife's awesome insurance from work. The dentist then said, "amazingly you have no cavities but your wisdom teeth are about half rotted out". It was a real procedure to get those suckers out if you know what I mean.
We used Dr Craig in McKinney (Virginia Pkwy, near Ridge Rd) once for teeth removal prior to braces and twice for wisdom teeth removal on our oldest two children. He is fabulous. We've also had experience with Dr. Stewart in Plano...(near 15th St, unless his office moved.. it's Larry Stewart) who was amazing in our time of need after our little one had an accident that involved some front teeth. Dr Stewart managed to go in and wire those teeth back in. Both of these doctors have great bedside manner, were kind and explained everything. I'd have every confidence in both of them. Good luck!
Dr. Mark Craig in McKinney is awesome! I took my 17 year old to him for the same reason. Everyone at the office is so nice! And Dr. Craig did a great job and my daughter healed wonderfully.
