Tostitos Nachos like at Theatre

My dd and I love the Tostito's nacho kits at Cinemark & AMC! Tonight I went to Tom Thumb and they didn't have the kits, but I bought the chips and then 2 kids of Tostito's sauce; 1 was a cheese dip and the other was a salsa con queso. Sadly, neither dip was like the nacho cheese from the Tostito's theatre kits. Does anyone know where I can get the right kind of Tostito's dip or even a pack of the little kits? I live in Plano. Can't really go to the theatre every time we want nachos!

What can I do next?

Most nachos are made with Rico cheese. You can get individual cups of it at Walmart. It comes in like a 4 pack. I think it is by Velvetta. I know for sure you can get a huge can of it at Sams. Hope that helps!

Hey, M.,
I worked in a restaurant years ago and we did "nacho's" during Sunday football games. They were like the theatre ones. It's the cheese that makes "those" nacho's. That cheese comes in those gigantic cans at Wal-Mart. Seeing as how it has a lot of preservatives, you could probably keep it in the fridge for a while....(not in the can, of course)

Good Luck in your search....those nacho's are terrific!!!!

Margaret :)
