Yes, I had the same thing. I passed quite a few spare clots the few weeks after my miscarriages. Don't let it freak you out. It's probably the extra bit of thickened lining that you are losing.
i just went to the bathroom and wiped and saw a mucous/blood thingy on the tp. i had a m/c sept 17th and wondering if that was the remainder of it? anyone else have this? PLEASE HELP! i'm nervous...
thanks to everyone who has replied. it really does help me as i can relate to ones who have unfortunately gone through the same thing. so thanks again.
update: went to the doctor yesterday for dizziness and told them what i found ha! they are not concerned. took another hcg blood test and that is back to normal. phew! this has been an experience for us that's for sure. i hope none of you have to go through this even though in the big picture it's not that bad. i will most likely stay on this forum mostly because everyone had been exceptionally helpful and sympathetic. i'm sure i'll be posting more questions but mostly hope to help some of you out as well. i'll do my best. now, i just hope my period is coming next month around the 17th then my husband and i will talk about ttc again. we're hoping everything gets better from here :)
((hugs))

Hi E.,
As long as you don't have a fever, Yes, it's normal. I am so sorry for your loss.
I once passed a VERY large clot (size of a hampster - I felt it coming out; it slid out...so gross!) after a D&C following a m/c and it scared me so much i put it into a baggie and brought it to the doctor. She said it's just tissue and it's actually good b/c it means that my body is expelling everything it needs to (if stuff gets stuck in there it can cause infections).
Take care, and again, I am sorry for what you are going through. If you have a fever though, you should DEFINITELY call your doc right away.
Hi E., I don't believe you need to be alarmed. This happens to me every few months before or after my period ... I haven't had a m/c, so I don't know if it's related? ( so sorry for your loss!) At first it freaked me out, and yes, grossed out too. But, I have never found it to be an issue. I've had all kinds of "female" tests done for numerous" issues and nothing is wrong. I believe it's just our bodies "ememinating" what our bodies don't need. Mine has been bloody, darkish brown and sometimes kind of clear. If it would ease your mind, maybe try googling " mucous discharge before or after period" ( just a guess on wording", or call your gp or ob/ gym and leave a message and explain you situation and ask if this is normal.

Hi. Didn't ready other responses, so this may be a repeat, but I think that it's normal - the body continuing to work things out.
I had a m-c in May and am pregnant now, so wanted to send you good vibes and let you know that it's possible. Hang in there.
Did it look like a shriveled up prune or something like that?
If so, that is an excellent sign! My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and I had the same thing happen. It freaked me out big time so I called my doctor. Once she explained to me what it was, it made complete sense.
This is the last part of the miscarriage. It is likely the remainder/lining of the uterus - tissue that has died because it was no longer needed to support a pregnancy. It detaches and passes and then the uterus is ready to 'start over' again.
If it is a one time thing ,you've nothing to worry about. If it continues call your ob. They should be able to clear up your worries and tell you the next thing to do.
I am sorry for your loss. DOnt worry, everything will get better.
