Downy liquid fabric softner and a sponge. We've taken wallpaper down in almost every room in our house and downy fabric softner works the best. You soak the sponge and rub it directly on the wallpaper and then use a paint scraper and it comes right off. I got tired of taking wallpaper off in our house, so our last project we did (basement) we actually painted right over the border and you can't even tell. I'm not sure how that would look if the entire wall was wallpaper, but I got the idea from some of the home shows on HGTV. They paint over wallpaper and borders a lot. But, since you already removing the wallpaper, I would definately try downey. Good Luck.
