What is a driver at the supermarket? That would help us determine what you should wear.
Season's greetings mamas and (the few) papas.
Hope all are doing well with the holidays rounding home!
Speaking of holidays and money, I have an interview this week at yes, a supermarket to be a driver! In my current state of unemployment, I said I would explore all options so here we are.
My question is, I am so used to interviewing for office positions that I am not sure what to wear for this one. I don't want to overdress to appear desperate and I don't want to underdress either.
I'm thinking of slacks and a sweater.
Thoughts?
Thanks everyone. I'm just going to be driving a van and delivering groceries.

1. You can never go wrong in a suit. Just keep it more casual - put a light sweater or shirt under it and keep all buttons open.
2. Wear black pants that fit well with a nice tailored shirt. Cute shoes and professional bag.
3. Again, black pants with a very basic sweater. No loud colors. Maybe a tailored shirt underneath.
Good luck.
Slacks and sweater set or sweater & jacket are my votes. Still 3 pieces, just a notch down from a suit.
Good luck!
Sounds just right to me. I would be surprised if you showed up in jeans and a tee but I bet a lot do. It makes you appear more adult than college or high school. So yes to the slacks and sweater.
IMHO, slacks and a sweater for a driver position is perfect.
Good luck! Crossing my fingers for you!
Slacks and a sweater should be fine. I think that as a driver you will be wearing a uniform. As a clerk you'd be wearing slacks and a sweater. Slacks and a sweater would be good for nearly any job interview.
