Silly Candle/tart Warmer Question...

I love my honeycomb tart warmer... the kind you put the yankee candle tarts in, with the unscented tea candle underneath to melt the tart... and I love walmart brand 3 wick $5 pumpkin spice candle... but the only burn about 2/3 down, then won't stay lit to melt the rest.

My question is this: If I carve out some of the leftover pumpkin space candle, can I put it in the tart warmer, or is the wax more dense than the tarts, and will it not melt and smell pretty?

I just don't want to ruin the tart warmer ;)

What can I do next?

I love my electric warmer, it does candles and/or tarts or oils. You just have to dump it when it's hot so all the wax comes out and wipe it out with a paper towel.
Just a note of caution on the ones with the tea light burners, I had one explode on me once after it got old. Well it didnt really explode, it cracked and then there was a mess.

Definitely I sometimes take the wick out of the little votive candles and melt those when I can't find the sent in the tarts.

You should be able to do that BUT most of the time only the top 1/3-1/2 of candles are scented. That's why they don't smell very strong after they've burned down. (Unless they are good expencive candles) So, it might not smell very much. :o/
I am NOT a scentsy consultant BUT I LOVE their stuff and the scents are strong and last for a long time! Even if you don't use THEIR warmers you could put THEIR wax in your tea light warmer and it's not any more expensive than a regular candle for the burn time that you get!
:o)

It looks like you can. I found that the only difference between a tart and a candle is a wick

It should be fine to melt your candle wax in your warmer.
I have an electric candle warmer.
The top is like a little removable pie plate which holds the tarts.
When you want to remove wax that's cooled and hardened, I just place the little plate in the freezer a few minutes, the wax contracts, and then is easily removed.
If you remove the little pie plate, you can place a jar candle (that's been burn down to almost the bottom) and heat it up to get the last of the scent from it.
I have a few tea light candle/scented oil warmers, but my electric one is my favorite, easiest to use and a snap to clean.
A picture is easier than describing it:

I know you aren't asking this but I'm a HUGE fan of Partylite candles because they smell really good but mostly because they burn ALL the way down, the only thing left is the little metal tab at the bottom! I don't sell them but highly recommend them. I don't know what they are called but they also sell those waxy things that you melt down and they smell. I hope you find something that works for you!
