I am looking for a place in TN that is similar to Branson MO. However I know that it is not in Memphis, Nashville and it is not Dollywood, or Opryland or Loretta Lynn Park. Someone told my husband about it but he can't remember the name. He thinks it is in N.E. TN. Thanks for any info.
I think you are thinking of the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Area in the Smokey Mountains. It has Branson type shows and lots of people go there to get married.

LOL. It's certainly NOT Memphis or Nashville, but I think Gatlinburg is what you're looking for. You will have a blast. I am from Memphis and I lived in Nashville 5 years. Both those cities are great too, but more lively. If you're looking for serenity, go Gatlinburg. I have never personally been, but I have heard great things from many people about it.
