Hey! My husband and I are waiting the arrival of our son. He is due in the beginning of November. I am a teacher and will be at home with him for 12 weeks, but then I have to return to work. I am looking for an in-home day care that is safe and will meet my babies needs. It can be in the Lombard or Elmhurst area. Please let me know if you know of a place!

You can contact the YMCA in Glen Ellyn and they can give you a list of people that run in-home daycares. (I think they charge $30 or so.) I would suggest doing this now because there are not always a lot of openings for infants. If they do have an opening, I guess some of them will sign a contract with you in advance to hold a spot. Hi, I am not sure if you are still looking but a friend of mine provides childcare in her Westchester home. She is a wonderful mom. My boys and I have spent time with her, her daughter and the 2 boys she was caring for while we were at the park, library, etc.

Got Tots, Inc - Bonnie Balboa. www.gottotsinc.com. My daughter started in her care at 8 months (now 4), and my son at 3 months (now almost 2). She is located in Lombard by the police station. She is a teacher too! Not certain if she will have an infant spot, but I would recommend talking with her.
Judy's in home daycare, she is in addison right off North ave and addison rd, good neighborhood, great price, quality care, my daughter has been there for years now. There's a listing for her under the business section
