Seeking a Good Cardiologist in the Fort Worth Texas Area

Consultants in Cardiology. Have heard RAVE reviews about their practice. Specifically Gutimetla (sp) and Takata (sp).
They are based in a building on Harris Methodist campus, so I would assume their patients get to use the incredible heart center also at harris.

There are 3 big groups in town- Heart Center of North Texas, Fort Worth Heart, and Consultants in Cardiology. My husband is a cardiologist physician assistant for Heart Center of North Texas and there are many good physicians in this group. He speaks highly of many of the physicians in the other 2 groups as well.

I don't have a suggestion for a good one to try, but I will tell you, don't go to the Heart Place. They have absolutely no personalized care, they are terrible at explaining things, their staff is rude, and their patient load is ridiculous. I've been dealing with them because they are the only office with an electrophysiologist anywhere near me, but if I had a choice, it certainly wouldn't be them.

I heard that there is a group that operates out of Harris Methodist (I think?) in Fort Worth. Google them and give them a try maybe? I wanted to, but again they don't have an electrophysiologist on staff (and I have an arrhythmia that requires specialized care).

Two that I have worked with and really loved were Dr. McBride and Dr. Jeffery Lin. Dr. Lin is a surgeon. Dr. McBride worked with my daughter and was compassionate and personable. I also will mention that it has been my experience that most specialists are a bit lacking in bedside manner, but are happy to answer direct questions. Dr. McBride handled two very distraught parents patiently and professionally.
