Hi! I attend Lakewood on Saturday night and love it; however, there are times when I'm not able to make the drive. Please reply if you know of any non-denominational churches in Northwest Houston that have a Saturday night service. Thank you very much! G.

We are members of Lakewood also. I don't know of any other churches with a saturday evening service but, will keep my ears open.

I go to The Church at Creeks End, it's on Kuykendahl, between FM2920 and Spring Cypress......it's awesome, and we have a service on Saturday night at 6pm. This service usually has a smaller crowd than Sundays, but we are growing like mad!!

My husband and I were members of Lakewood as well. We had the same problem as you do with the commute back and forth and once our son was born we found we made excuses to not attend because of the drive and having to try to keep the baby on a schedule. We love Lakewood and believe in all that they are doing in Houston and around the world. If you are like my husband and I, once you have been to Lakewood it is hard to find anything that compares. We have visited several churches in our area and have had a hard time getting that "this is it" feeling. We have attended Faithbridge UMC off of Stubner Airline and we really have enjoyed that. It is a smaller church but anything is smaller compared to where you have been. They only have Sunday services but they are good times, 9:15 & 11:15. We have enjoyed being there.
Hi G., actually their is a church that started services at Goodson Junior High a few years ago, then as they grew and had plans for opening their building met at the Berry Center on Barker Cypress. Now they have just opened their own Church building at 290 and Becker its on the left side of the freeway if your driving North West. SATURDAY NIGHT SERVICES START TONIGHT AT 600. they will have the nursery opened till 10:00 for those who want to leave church and go eat and fellowship with others then come back and pick up kids. Hope this is good info for you and not to far.
The Met on Jones Road (in between 249 and 290) just started Saturday night services. www.themetonline.org.

Hello G.! My name is R. and I am a new "grams" on this site... Wanted to share with you though about my church... Fellowship of the Woodlands - off of I45 and 242... though there are many "back routes" from all direction that make it not "too far" from anywhere in the NW/North area.
They have 2 awesome services on Saturday nights & have wonderful childrens church by age group - it's a spirit filled church & Pastor Kerry is greaaat!... here is the website
