Call DirecTV and tell them you're switching companies unless they can give you the same deal they're giving new customers. See what happens.
I currently have DirecTv Satellite on 2 tvs in my house. I've been happy with the service, however in additional to the monthly fee for BASIC channels plus local channels, I have to pay $5.99 for each tv that is hooked up. That can get kinda costly as I have 3 more TV's I'd LOVE to get hooked up to something other than rabbit ears. The new switch to digital for the rabbit ears is very annoying and not reliable. Atleast before, I could get a snowy picture on rabbit ears, not I just get no signal error message.
For those who have other tv services (Comcast, Dish Network) do you pay for each tv separately or is it one flat rate?
I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to have more tv's hooked up in our house. I'm in the western suburbs of IL.
Thanks!

We have Time Warner in SE Wisconsin-I like it, but we do pay per box. 7.95/box I think. Not sure, but i think that is standard or as my husband says: that's how they getcha'. :)
Check into AT&T Uverse if it's available in your area.
Time Warner and we pay for each additional box.
Dont get dish!!! There a waste of money!!( it is also 5.99 to add on after 2 tiv's) ive heard time warner is pretty good i think comcast is with them
