Hi!
We're new the area, and I am in need of a medical exam. I'm having some pain around my liver, and don't know where to start for a General Practice/Internist in the Glenview/Niles/Park Ridge area. Thanks so much for your help!

I recommend Dr. Colleen Nugent. She is located in Glenview, in the Glen. She is very professional, kind, and a mom! www.glenmed.com ###-###-####
I would recommend Dr. Scott Cienkus. He's well liked and a great doctor. He's associated with Glenbrook North and Evanston. He has an office in Glenview. You can find him in the yellow pages. His office is in the area of Waukegan/Glenview Rd. Good Luck
I second the recommendation for Dr. Scott Cienkus. My husband and I see him as well as my inlaws and parents too. We know him personally as well as he is a high school classmate of my husband's. He is prompt, through, and thoughtful. He is 41 years old and once again practices in Glenview and Mt. Prospect.
I'd recommend the Advocate Medical Group in Glenview. I really like Dr. Babbo. The doctors in this group are affiliated with Lutheran General. ###-###-####
HI A.,
Welcome to the area! Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I LOVE my internist. Her name is Dr Lisa Kim. She's on Dempster near Lutheran General in Park Ridge. She is very low key but way on top of everything. I call her my "medical home base" - I had some really strage medical issues over the last couple years and she got me to the right places for specialty needs and then did the general stuff (physical, ect) in her office. Every time I see her she knows where I've been and what's going on with any other doc I've seen...I think that's rare these days. I went to her originally b/c my ob kept blowing off my abdominal pain saying "you just had a baby" - turns out I had a (non cancerous) tumor on my ovary - had I not visited Dr Kim it would have been 6 months before my next ob check up and who knows what could have happened. Her number is 847/296-1204. FYI, my husband also sees her as does my best friend...they both lover her too. I hope you feel better soon!
