Does anyone have a good recommendation for an intense, yet relaxing prenatal yoga DVD? I'm looking for one with relaxing music. (I have done regular yoga with some modifications up to this point - 35 weeks pregnant, so I want one that will give a decent work-out.)

I would highly recommend the Bikram yoga one. It is a very good workout. It is the heated yoga but the heat obviously isn't good for being pregnant so they made a prenatal dvd. You can google Bikram yoga and read up on it. But my uncle owns a studio in woodbury and I do it all the time it is amazing! And my cousin did it while pregnant and she had a great delivery!

I was just at Target today, and looking at Yoga DVD's. They had several different ones, including the pregnancy one. I was thinking where were these when I was prego. That would have been nice to have to give my body a good stretch I often needed.

I used Prenatal Yoga with Shiva Rea about every day of my pregnancy. She does the workout along with a woman in each trimester. I would think this would give you some options, maybe you could follow some of the second trimester portion if it's a bit harder for you. She also splits the workout into three 15-minute segments, so you can do it all or just some parts. I loved it and it made me feel so much better.

Yoga Journal and Lamaze did a DVD called "Yoga for your Pregnancy" w/Kristen Eykel that I have used and loved thru 2 pregnancies. It has a relaxing practice, a strengthening practice, a post natal practice, and breathing practice. Enjoy!
