Hello Mommasource Moms,
Im looking for a great preschool for above average kids. Including montessori schools. Any suggestions or experiances would be very helpful! I can't seem to find any listings or any information other than the yellow pages! Help!
Thank you, S.

Hi,
There is a great Montesorri school in Strongsville on Pearl Rd. My son has not gone there but my freinds' children have. I have heard great things from them. The place is called Le Chateau Montesorri school, sorry but I do not have their phone number.
Good Luck in finding what you are looking for.

Its been my observation that if you have a child that is at either end of the spectrum for learning abilities. Either gifted or learning disabled. The best programs are going to be found through public avenues. State funding and involvement provide outstanding programming for these kids that private and parochial schools cant match.

I'd check with the Strongsville public school system and see if they have any recommendations for you and your preschooler. the Ohio Teachers Union may be able to give recommendations for you as well. I know they have a web site, but you may need to google them to find it.

Good luck!

They just opened a new Goddard School on Falling Water by Border's plaze. It comes highly recommended but it is expensive.

Hi S.,
I am new to Strongsville and am also in the process of looking for daycare. A neighbor told me about a preschool (Scribes & Scribblers) but I have not yet checked it out. Good luck!

I would start with the website for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). You can search by zip code and also see some of their philosophy. My son's wonderful preschool in New Orleans was NAEYC-accredited and the site helped me find one here too.
