Today I'm thankful for my 6 year old daughter being so smart and understanding... I told her that her bio dad had another baby (ergo, she has a new baby 1/2 sibling). She has NO relationship with her dad (which is for the best). She took it better than I think any adult would have :)
Wow - there really is power in prayer. That's great. WHat a wonderful way to start the holiday season.
I'm thankful for the same things as always - my kids, my family, my health, my job, my country and my God

Today - I am thankful that my son threw up OUTSIDE on the sidewalk of the library and NOT inside (an extra 20 steps and he'd have done so inside. YUCK! Embarassing! YUCK!)

That is WONDERFUL News!!! So happy for you!. Praise God! I am so thankful for every blessing and challenge in my life. Each challenge I learn something new and can use it for positive things and my blessings are infinite. I love my husband, my children, my family and the list goes on and on...but I am so thankful to be alive and well and happy with a growing Christian family who love God and are doing what God intended them to do. :)

It's funny because there was a bad accident not far from my office yesterday going the opposite direction I NORMALLY go it. I also normally leave work at 330. Since it was a half day at school, all 3 of my kids were at the sitter, which meant I had to go north, instead of south. I decided to stay and catch up on some work, so I around 4, instead of 330. Thank God because at 335 there was an accident in front of a gas station that sent live wires into the road. It would have taken me about 5 minutes to get from my office to this spot on the road. God always knows and directs us, even when we don't know or think it's our own genius idea!
ETA: The driver of the car walked away and no one was hurt.
Also, I'm thankful for everything, the good, the bad and the inbetween. Without all of it, today would be different.

I'm thankful for my family and friends. That everyone is healthy. And while things are tough financially we are still very fortunate and for that I am thankful!

I'm so glad to hear about your healing :) God is good and he has definitely created our body to heal itself until the day we fly away from here.
I'm thankful that it's finally nap time. It's been a busy morning. I'm thankful for water. We constantly lose our water because of bad city plumbing. We have a major leak up the street and everytime they come to fix it, they get called away to a bigger leak elsewhere. So having water is a blessing.

I just got dental insurance after a year (thank you Lord); of course, now I'm dreading the (most likely) root canal I'm going to get. Also, people have been praying for my hip pain & it's 75% better.

Congrats, I'm sure you are nothing but smiles today:) As far as what I'm thankful for today......that would be the fact that I have a roof over my head and food in my cupboards despite the horrible economy.
