My gyn is retiring soon so I need to find someone new. we are anticipating another baby in the future, so I need an OB. I prefer someone that delivers at GBMC or St Joes. I would like someone that takes time to listen to me and will let me help make some decisions, since I know my body fairly well. Can anyone recommend their OB that they love?

What can I do next?

I loved Dr. Ottenritter at GBMC. I wish I had some contact info for you, but I lost his card, and saw him there about 7 years ago, so hopefully he is still there!

I LOVE my OBs, Dr. Lillian Hunter & Dr. Kim Kessler. Both deliver at GBMC. They are in the same practice, Perinatal Associates at GBMC. Dr. Hunter delivered my baby #3 and one of them will deliver baby #4 soon, at GBMC. I've been very happy with the quality of care that I've received there. They also have a satellite office in Owings Mills near the mall. Neither has a problem with my kids coming to appointments. I hope this helps!

i love mine, Dr Tracey Duke at Capital Women's Care; however, everyone in the practice is great! Their offices are at St. Joes and they deliver there and at GMBC. They are wonderful!!!!

I have been pretty happy with Capital Women's Care in Towson. My primary is Dr. Zern but Duke and Giudice delivered my kids and I really like Facciolo as well. I don't know Dr. Buesher as well but saw her a few times during my pregnancies. Terry the NP is good as well. They are located in the O'Dea building on the St. Joe's campus and deliver at St. Joes which I LOVED for both my deliveries (they were also good with my miscarriage as well.) Good luck!

I know of two wonderful doctors in the Towson area, both that deliver at GBMC. One is doctor Carol Ritter, Phone: ###-###-####. Her husband is a dentist and I have known them for 20 years. They are both wonderful doctors.
The other doctor I can recommend is Dr. Arthur Nauman, ###-###-####. He delivered my daughter in January. He also has an office in Bel Air and he delivers at GBMC and St.Joe's. He rocks!
Hope that helps...

We absolutely love Capital Women's Care (CWC) practice(formerly Charm City OB/GYN) http://www.cwcare.net/connect.asp. Dr Zern & others in the practice have been ID-ed as "Top Docs" https://www.sjmcmd.org/NewsEvents.aspx?id=5974 There are other articles out there. They have St Joe's privileges & are located on the campus in the O'Dea bldg. I've had 3 births with their Drs and never felt pressure to be induced, C-sec'd, and never had an episiotomy. Excellent bedside manner and personal attention. I HIGHLY recommend the practice. My most recent delivery was back in 2005... so there are Drs there that I haven't seen.
