I'm needing a new daycare for my 16 month old son (ours closed very unexpectedly). I'm wanting someone who is wonderful with children and has a good learning program. I live in Olathe and would love to find someone close to home. Does anyone know of any good home daycare providers? HELP!!!!!

Try daycare connection, they are a not for profit agency that helps you locate daycare in Johnson County KS with in a certain vicinity, you give them the street parameters, and they send you a list of places with openings. Very helpful, their # is ###-###-####. The Children's Conservancy is also good, you can find them online at www.childcaresource.org.

I'm sure you have already found a daycare provider for your son, but if not, I am a licensed daycare provider in Olathe. I am located off of Murlen and 159th. I have a couple of openings available for 12+ months. We have a lot of fun at my house and always learn through play and different activities that I introduce. I don't know if you are still needing an opening, but I am a licensed provider in Spring Hill (just south of Olathe) and I currently have openings for full and part-time care. I am a certified nurses aide and mother of a 15 month old daughter. My home is clean, pet-free, and smoke-free. I have plenty of toys and room for play indoors and out.
