Does anyone know of a dentist within 30 miles of Arnold, MO that will take medicaid and sees children? My son needs some work done and we need to get it done fast and the insurance company we have with Medicaid is no help when it comes to finding a dentist. THanks!
I don't know about medicaid. But call Dr. White and Dr. Krobath in Kirkwood.
I don't know if he takes Medicaid, but J. Scott Delaplain on Astra Way off of 141 is excellent. Their staff is great and I know they see kids. I've been going to him since I was a kid.
There's a dental center in the Schnucks shopping center on Lindell by SLU that sees primarily Medicaid and primarily on an emergency basis. It's crowded, but they do get you in if you have an emergency. Good luck.
I have heard friends mention that the St Louis Community College have dental students/residents who can see and perform certain services for a small fee. I have heard this in reference to children, and cannot remember if it relates to fillings and routine care only or not. It would be worth making a phone call (campuses are in St. Louis close to Barnes, Kirkwood, Florissant).
Try Arnold Dental Arts with Dr. Leon. I don't know if they take Medicaid, but see if they can help you even if they don't. He's very good, and you could probably work out some payment arrangement that would be manageable for your situation.
