This might be a silly question, but I am going to ask it anyway. Is it ok for Dads to attend Mommy and me classes, or will I get the evil eye for attending?
I would go for it no matter how the mom's react. My husband also works nights, and picks up the kids from school and is very involved in their sports activites, since I don't get off work until 5-5:30. My kids and I are truly blessed to have such a hands on Dad. If anything, the other mom's should be jealous that their husband's don't spend as much time with their kids as you do.

Typically these are intended to be supportive and enriching groups for caregiver and child, so most will welcome you!! I suppose there could be a group out there that is exclusively for "mommy" and child, but I've never encountered one. All of the groups I participated in were filled with well-loved children and a variety of caregivers. Involved Daddies are always well-received! (Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and others, too!)
It is important, as an involved parent, to develop a support system. I would encourage you to get out there and try a few groups/classes that sound interesting to you. I'm sure you'll find a great group!

I have a low tolerance for noise and screaming kids, so my husband takes our daughters to most things. He took them to Mommy and me gymnastics for three years and never got the evil eye. Most moms were thrilled to see a dad involved for a change. He has even taken them to princess dress-up tea parties! So don't worry about the evil eye - just enjoy your activity with your child.
I teach a "mommy and me" type class and would love to see some dads there! Kuddos to you for wanting to be so involved. :)
