Hi ladies, I need a meatball recipe - I'm going to a gathering on Sunday and I said I bring an appetizer , hopefully one that's easy and inexpensive and possibly by way of crockpot or maybe if you know of a good website I could check out..

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you ladies for the help..all ways done stress free, Well the get together was great and the meatballs were huge hit...this is what I did, 1 jar (32oz) of grape jelly, 1 bottle of (28oz) original kraft bbq sauce and a bag of meatballs - I bought 76-1/2oz meatball (Italian style)and I rinsed the jar and bottle with water and used that in the crockpot...I put in all in at the same time then I mixed it all together a few times but otherwise I let the crockpot take care of it...It was super duper EASY. Thanks again

www.meals.com and www.foodnetwork.com have some great recipes. I have a meatbal recipe, but it uses premade meatballs. It would still work if you have to make them It involves a bag of meatballs or prepared meatballs already cooked, a small jar of grape jely, and a bottle of inexpensive bbq sauce (Heinz). Combine and simmer on low or in a crockpor for two hours. I use a little water(a few tblspns) to rise out the jars only. We called them swedish, but whatever their called, their good. I have a friend who swears by this recipe: 5lb bag of turkey meatballs, 2 jars of sugar free grape jelly or 2 cans cranberry sauce with the cranberries in itand 2 jars of heinz chili sauce. Cook in the crock pot, the longer, the better. It sounds like a strange combo, but I've had them and they're great! I hope you like it too!

Hi--

I don't know a good recipe myself, but I go to www.foodtv.com for just about everything. Do a recipe search, then click at the top of the ratings column to get the recipes with the best reviews.

Hope this helps!

I always start at www.allrecipes.com when I'm looking for a recipe. The recipes are submitted by members and come with lots of feedback so you get a good idea of what you will be cooking. I only ever make anything that has 5 stars.

Hope this helps.
