Jammin Meatballs - Put meatballs in crockpot with equal parts grape jam and Heinz Chili sauce - Sounds weird by very yummy! Sweet and Savory!
I need food ideas for a party we are having this weekend. We love doing silly theme parties; they definitely give us something fun to look forward to every month. We will have 2 families over. Our silly party is called Jammin Jammy Jam: everyone comes in jammies, we are playing Dance Central on the Kinect, listening to 90's music (Pump up the Jam!) and we thought it would be funny to have foods that include jam. Any ideas? I am going to have mostly snack foods out. Some ideas I had are peanut butter&jam cookies, fried scones served with jam, thumbprint cookies, or banana bread with jam. Thanks for your input!

i like cocktail weenies with grape jam bbq sauce... i don't know the exact recipe as i've never made them. my aunt always did, and it was delicious. i know the sauce had some liquor in it, grape jam, and i don't konw what else... they are so delicious!!
You could do the scones or even butter cookies with jam, OR, since you're going in your pjs, serve breakfast ;) Have fun!
What about "surprise" muffins? The "surprise" is jam inside. If you have time, why not make homemade jam and send it home with them in little jars with the below song attached to a little card? Here is a little children's song by Russell Hobon:
Jamming with Jam
Jam on biscuits,
Jam on toast,
Jam is the thing
I like most.
Jam is sticky,
Jam is sweet,
Jam is tasty,
Jam's a treat.
Raspberry,
Strawberry,
Gooseberry,
I'm very
FOND...
OF...
JAM!
Good luck!
crepes with jam and jelly filled donuts
Great fun idea! All your ideas are sweet. you need some savory too How about Jambalaya!
And a jammed brie. Put Brie on a plate and warm slightly in the microwave, just till it gets super soft and pour warm jam on top. Spread that on good quality crackers. Apricot is traditional but I bet a habenero jelly would rock!
I was also thinking it sounds like a super fun sleepover so why not do sleepover foods. Popcorn Balls. Smores. Rice Krispy Treats.
How about some little peanut butter & jam finger sandwiches with the crust cut off - you coul cut them into little squares or triangles.
Cream cheese with red pepper jelly is great with crackers (I like wheat thins). You just put a block of cream cheese on a plate and pour the jelly over the top.
