I avoid the "Could I be pregnant" ones, those are like, "How am I supposed to know? Go to a doctor."
I avoid ones that do not have any paragraph breaks, just one long block of words.
I am getting to the point where stuff like, "is my baby napping enough/too much" or "is my baby *fill in the blank" are getting to the point where I have no real advice or interest.

My child is school aged now, so that age group and pre-teen stuff, what I consider appropriate clothes, hair, movies, language, those are all more interesting.
Education, friendships, bullying, chores, attitudes, consequences.

Things like that.

I read more questions than I should, yes the ones about lady bits. But never answer, I mean what in the world could I add to that persons life.
I also tend to skip the long ones, they usually are just a rant in the end.
I have answered questions I shouldn't have. And skipped ones I wish I had answered.
Good question.

Great question - I only read questions where the subject line provides enough information that I know what the question is about. If it simply says, "I admit this is long," or "I need advice" or something similar, I tend to skip it. I also skip the JFF - I just don't find them too interesting.

My attention is drawn to whatever issue I am facing the most at that time or sounds interesting. Least attention is to : AM I PREGNANT???? COULD I BE PREGNANT? and I admit this is long....or long vent. I just don't have time for those. I also appreciate when people write clearly and say what they mean and mean what they say.

I was going to ask this question! Well not right now but sooner or later lol.

The ones that get my attention the most are questions about baking, desserts, appetizers, side dishes, some MIL questions, husband rants, trying to conceive, miscarriage, and pregnancy.

I'll admit 'what would you do?' written in the subject line alway gets my attention, but half the time it ends up not being interesting lol.

I am not interested in questions about politics, interviews and jobs, disney vacations, questions about 'a gifted child' that kinda seem to only serve to brag about what a genius the kid is, and ones that are way too long and confusing or are not written so you can easily follow/understand the story.

I mostly enjoy the questions that deal with relationships, because I am drawn to the science of how people relate to other people. It mostly depends on what I'm in the mood for; sometimes the promise of drama draws me in. If I see "need prayers right away" or something similar, then I'll read it and say a prayer. JFF...if it's something that I care to engage in. I'm also sensitive to the breastfeeding questions because I know how discouraging it can be and how it can make a woman feel like she is unfit to take care of her baby. I try to be encouraging.

The LEAST: Like everybody else, "Am I pregnant?"..."Should I go to the doctor?".... I close it if the writing is bad, because it becomes a distraction.

For me a lot of it is a question of, "Do I have a clue?"

Questions on natural childbirth, breastfeeding, (possible) milk allergies, Montessori education, shyness (in children and parents), children's literature, school issues up to but not beyond first grade -- I feel like a friggin' genius, b/c I've been there.

Questions on Disney trips, cruises, Christmas/Easter/holiday I don't celebrate, which stroller/carseat/minivan to buy, how to throw a cute shower/party/etc., how to tell my older children we're having a baby, advice from me is going to be worthless.

Then there are questions where I just can't help having an opinion: Politics (left of center), should I call the doctor (yes), should I be offended about minor issues involving greeting cards (no), should I participate in a huge, pointless extended-family drama (no), is a 10-hr time-out appropriate (no), should I make an excruciatingly terrible decision that will haunt me for life (no), I just can't help but weigh in.

I like the "My child is out of control" and "Bad behavior in a ___year old" ones. And political ones.
