What about earrings from a piercing shop? The solid circle w/1 ball to connect them.
My daughter has lost 3 earrings in the past 2 months! The first pair were screw backs, and ther subsequent ones were normal backs? All were studs, except the hoops! Does anyone know of a back or earring style that prevents loss??? Any tricks I don't know about?
It's been going on a month and we still have the huggies! Yay!

try the erasers from a pencil. Worked for my kids!
I think I would try and help your daughter to be a little more responsible. It's hard to be so little and not loose things. I was always losing things like that when I was little. I think the studs things is a good idea even though she may be tired of the studs. Some kids just aren't ready for anything else until they are older.
I highly recommend the earrings from the piercing shop...Like Piercing Pagoda and Claire's. The piercing earrings have to 'click in' and they are really hard to pull out. They have both studs and hoops. Good luck!
I love these rubber backs - started using them years ago when I made jewelry. They are MUCH tighter than any metal back, and you can use them on the hook style too, as the photo shows. Buy a bunch & keep them on hand. http://www.artbeads.com/ewc20.html
I love my hoops, you can buy itty bitty ones, they never have to come out and they never get lost... but the studs from the earring store stay put for a long time too, in fact I couldn't get one of mine off...
