It could be an infection, or just underdeveloped bladder. www.webmd.com is a good site to visit, to find info on problems like this. You should let her pediatritian know what's going on as well.
Hi all. I need some help with my daughter, Grace. She will be 3 near the end of July, and she has been fully potty trained for at least 5 or 6 months now...I mean big girl undies all the time...even through the night. She wet her bed for the first time this week, and since then has been going through 3-4 pairs of undies a day!! She used to tell me when she needed to go. Now she is tinkling in her undies a little before telling me she has to go. Today she had 4 of these incidents, one of which was a full-on tinkle on the floor fiasco! I am at a loss. Any idea why this is happening, and any advice on how to get her back on track?
Thanks!

My daughter is 3.5yo and we had the same problem. She would get so busy in what she was playing should would forget to tell us and then tell me after the fact. We too were going thru 4-5 pairs of panties a day. We now have an incentive system for her. When she does the pee pee dance and we ask if she has to go, she gets one sticker. If she comes to us and tells us she has to go and panties are dry, she gets 2 stickers. When we go shopping, she gets to pick out her favortite sticker sheets and I cut the them up so they are one at a time. I put them in a sealed container that she can't get open (plastic food container from chinese food I think). Also, after she is done pottying, she gets to pick out the stickers, so it also helps in decsion making. It costs me about a dollar a week but saves me a ton of laundry and a smelly kid! We have been doing this for about 2 months now and half the time she forgets about the sticker but she is very proud of herself and the fact that she makes it on time! Good Luck!

there is a posibility that she has a uraniry tract infection or maybe a yeast infection. have the ped. look her over. It cant hurt to rule this out.
wow... it's funny but you sound the same way i did a few months ago. my daughter is now three and a half but went through this as well... nothing wrong.. i just think they flake out a bit at some point.. i don't know how else todiscribe it. they get busy, and they don't pay attention. with my daughter it passed lasted a few weeks, and she just got right back on track. ask her is it hurts or if she feels sick these could be sighns of an infection. And if you are still concerned after asking her talk to your ped. hope this helps. good luck!
