I'm on the board of MOMS Club (Moms Offering Moms Support) that covers Chicago and the NW side. There's a bunch of Moms in your area as well. We have all kinds of stuff we do each week and you can participate in all or none. We do have an infant playgroup setup and a "toddler time" as well. I live in Old Irving as well. I stayed home with my son for the first 18 months but I'm back to work now and expecting my second in August. I know just west on Irving Park road, Portage Park, has alot of activities and playgroups. Have you tried the Chicago Park District website? It's very helpful!! I hope this helps and good luck!!
