Looking for Boots

Walmart has boots sometimes. You could also look on www.craigslist.com or call some consinement stores.

Your other responses are good ones, however last year I was able to find boots for my daughters at Pinks Western Wear in Frisco on sale for $22. They were reasonable and they still wear them.

I have a pair of 13.5 boots I would like to sell. I originally paid $50 for them. I can send pictures if you are interested.

I got my son some for his Halloween costume at Walmart.

Check Walmart..that is where we got my 6 yr olds and he is a size 12

There is a store in grapvine mills mall that has all kinds of western stuff(it is all tex/westeren you can not miss it) and in the back they have boots for little girls and guys. I bought some for my girl when she was 3. I have forgotten how much they were, but I would not have spent much on them.

I had this same dilemma a few weeks ago. My son also needed a size 13, but I should have gone with a 1 since boots tend to run small. I found some at the Famous Brands shoe store in Grapevine Mills.

I noticed someone else mention western warehouse is grapevine mills, but they are closed now.

You might check local thrift stores. Whenever my kids need something for a costume or special project that I know they won't use a lot before growing out of them, that's where I head. I've had great luck at CCA in Lewisville, and Thrift World. I don't know where you live, but thrift and resale stores are everywhere. I often find excellent brands in great condition.

We had a day of horseback riding for a girl scout badge, and my son came along. We got my three pair of cowboy boots on the cheap. Kids just grow too fast to pay retail for every little thing!

Goodwill has tons of shoes. My kids are active in theatre, and I get tons of their costumes there.
