I have a couple favorite places. One is the Stephanie Inn in Canon Beach, Oregon. A little longer drive but well worth it.
The other is the Mountain Home Lodge which sits 1000 feet above Leavonworth. Both are kid-free zones and VERY romantic. Enjoy!

My most favorite place was the All Seasons River Inn in Levenworth. Bed/breakfast. Its not a bad drive from puyallup (where we live). It sits on the Winachee river. Each room has its own private balcony, queen or King beds, sitting area and private bath with a jacuzzi tub for two. the house is like a mountain lodge. their web site shows each room. the breakfast were totally awesome so much that I got the recipes. I have had many friend that have gone there and they all say the same thing. It's our favorite and the only place we will stay in Levenworth. Hope this helps. We went there for our 20th anniversay. Very romantic.!!!
We've spent several weekends in the past in Gig Harbor. It's quaint, on the water, romantic, beautiful (especially this time of year), and there are several bed/brkfsts. Probably best to look them up and see what's still out there as we haven't been in about five years (since having kids....I know, really sad...). Some of them have outdoor bonfires, are close to the beach, have trails, etc. Lots of options and some pretty good restaurants, too. =0)

I enjoyed leavenworth. They have a lot of cool little places to stay.
