I am looking for a good OB/GYN for myself and my daughters. I haven't gone to one since I had my children and my daughters want to get internals just to make sure they are healthy. Any suggestions? I live in the Providence/ Cranston Area of RI

What can I do next?

Try Dr. Serena Sposato of Bayside OB/GYN in Providence. The address is 235 Plain Street in Providence and her number is ###-###-####. She is a very good doctor.

Hi there -
I go to OBGYN Associates.
they have a bunch of doctors and a ton of locations.
I have had both my kids through this practice and I love all the doctors!

Hi H. -
Please check out Center for OBGYN in Providence on Promenade Street behind Providence Place mall. My doctor is Dr. Jeannine Connolly and I absolutely love her. It's an all woman practice and they have all of the latest and greatest equipment. Their phone number is ###-###-####. I switched to them mid-pregnancy with my first child and it was the best thing I ever did for us. I have had some trying times and they have never let me down with their combination of bedside manner and clinical expertise. I can't recommend them enough. Plus, because it is a relatively large practice (I think they have 6 doctors and 2 midwives), they have a doctor to suit everybody's personality. Some like the warm and fuzzy, some prefer more to the point and clinical. All are experts in their field and I would trust any one of them. Good luck!

I agree with Bernadette.

Bayside OB/GYN is the way to go.

Dr. Kathleen Bowling has been written up nationally as one of the best OB/GYN in the country (in the top 10).

However, I think that she is only taking new patients if they are pregnant. But anyone in the practice is very good.

Dr. Claireborne, Womens Care, Providence, ###-###-####. He has been in the practice for a while; great personality, can talk to him about ANYTHING, which is very important. Up on good health and makes you feel very comfortable in (lets face it) a not so comfortable time :)

Good luck!
