I live in the city and use Intimacy, I love them there, Veronica has done my fittings twice now. I know it might be far, but they are pretty fast and you can make an appointment so you don't have to wait. I went from a 38 G to now a 36 H and they have a big selection and are a great help! Love it there and you feel like a new person when you leave.

I, too, have always been successful being fitted at Nordstroms. Their clerks are well trained and professional.

I have no idea what's around you, but I've always had good luck with Nordstrom's. Their fittings are free, too.

I'm not sure where you're located, but Tina's Closet in Lisle is fantastic. Ever since I discovered it, it's the only place I'll go.

Nordstrom's and Neimans have great fitters. I got my last bras at Neimans. I am very petite and have natural perky 34DD's.

I bought Wacoal bras and love them.

You can also get a good fitting at Dillards and Macy's. My preference is Nordstrom and Neimans..... I believe the fitters have more experience and they are SO helpful.

If it's not too far for you I highly recommend Tina's Closet in Lisle. I've been getting my bras from her since I was 16 (I'm 38 now) and won't go anywhere else (same for many of the women in my family as well). I am rather busty myself and have a hard time finding good fitting bras and Tina will measure you and make sure you walk away with the perfect fit. She is a bit of a character but knows what she's about.

Another vote for Tina's Closet in Lisle!! I went there for the first time after nursing my first baby left my breasts different sizes. They are awesome!

Tina's Closet on Main Street in Lisle!!! I have been going there for almost 6 years and the only place I shop for bras.
Check their website for the hours. I believe they are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Dawn at Elegance Underneath in Naperville off of 95th is a great store. ###-###-#### not as much selection as tina's but the biggest difference is this owner is really helpful with a GREAT attitude. i used to go to tina's closet for a while but after i sent a few friends there and they left on bad experiences, not from the bra fitting, but from the attitude of the staff(including the owner) after only wanting to purchase 1 bra at a time, i never went back. Nordstrom's is great as well. i share your troubles, i am a 30DDD/E but elegance underneath has been most helpful with finding me bras that fit my everyday wear, sports bras, and more! she also does not alter the bras like Tina's, i have a few frankenstein bras that Tina altered that were pretty before but i had to pay to have them fitted. they were very ugly after that. i also got fitted and paid for a bra that i had to have realtered and when i took it to Tina she said i was too "busty" for a racer back bra and she never sold me this. i told her another sales associate in her store recommended it and she reprimanded me for not consulting her first. uhhh, train your staff to know what u know!!! after going to elegance underneath, i now own a racer back bra with an underwire and the bra fits me as it was made!! the other great thing is her return policy, she has one!! tina's is all sales are final no matter what you buy. and there is no $35 fitting charge at Elegance Underneath. Tina's charges you for the fitting if you do not make a bra purchase the same day. i hope that this has helped and best of luck finding a bra that fits, from experience, i know you will and it feels awesome!!

Please be ware. I work in Lisle and have clients that have gone to Tina's closet and my friend just went there yesterday. She had a very bad experience and will never shop there again. The sales people are rude and that's ok with Tina because she is rude as well. I have heard this from my other clients also. So i wouldnt recommend them, no matter how good they are supposed to be. Nordstoms people are very good and helpful and will fit your bra, as well as JC Penney and many other large dept stores. So if you like good customer service where you are spending your money, do not go to Tina's closet. You can see the other mom's comments about Tina being "not the sweetest" or "a character", now you know what they really mean. Im not sure how she is still in business after all the complaints ive heard. But of course its your decision.

I just had a fitting at Nordstrom today. I was assisted by Johnnie, who was very helpful. I had been wearing size 34A, but it turns out that I should be wearing 32D. The 32D is much more comfortable and flattering.

So, a big thumbs up for Nordstrom.

I also had an amazing experience at Nordstrom. The sales people are very professional and they have a great selection. I had always been told I was a 36C (at places like Victoria's Secret). I was always uncomfortable. Turns out I am a 32DD. They had plenty of bras, I tried on about a dozen and bought an awesome one. The fittings are free as well. Good luck!
