Call keurig - I have a family member who sells them and she says they are great about replacng them for free. She drinks coffees like 5 times per day and is on her third or fourth one.
Love, love our Keurig. Two weeks ago we noticed that it was leaking (during the brew cycle) over the edge of the k-cup holder. My husband cleaned thoroughly and it still did it. I realized the seal around the top of cup (where foil meets the cup) was seperating causing the leak. Thought since I got the cups at grocery store vs. B,B&B they may be inferior - but it happened again with the ones from BB&B.
SO - is the problem my machine? Is it not creating a tight enough seal on the cup? If this has happened to you, could you tell me what you did to remedy? I still have a warranty and I am happy to return it for a new one if the machine is defective, but if the cups, I'll just contact the company to let them know. . .
TIA!!
Thanks, Ladies. I am gong to try this tonight when I get home:)

There is a little rubber seal around the needle part that pokes the top of the Kcup. Sometimes, it gets pushed too far up and it doesn't seal properly. Pull that little rubber seal down just a bit (not completely covering the needle, but down about half way) so that it can make a good seal. I particularly noticed this problem when trying to use the insert for the regular ground coffee, not as much with the Kcups, but give it a try. Good luck!
My BFF had this problem and flushed it with white vinegar... it hasn't happened since :) She had the same issue, the build up of coffee grinds was pushing the seal up...
If your system is pushing water out of the top of the k-cup, then it must not be puncturing the bottom when the lid is closed. We've had our Keurig for three years and rarely this happens. We've found the k-cups to be the same no matter where purchased, but the BBB with any coupon is the best deal.
