My husband wants the Keurig coffee pot or one similar. I want to get one that you can still buy the little coffee inserts locally and find in most places. Do you know what is the best one or is the Cuisenart a better one? Please advise what makes you the happiest.
I watched the Keruig demo at Kohls last week and it looks so wonderful, and I had a cup of the coffee and it's awesome. I'd say it's totally worth the price if you only have a cup or two in the mornings.
Everyone i know that has a Keurig loves it. If you have a Costco near you buy it there, if you dont like it after a couple of months you can return. :-) They also sell the K cups and sometimes they have discounted gift certificated to by the Kcups from the website.
LOVE my Keurig. The K cups run a little more expensive than regular coffee - but you drink what you make. Also, if you buy them online it's cheaper. Go grab one from a Costco or BJs - I know the Platinum one at BJs comes with 80 free K cups. I love the Paltinum one, BTW.
I just recently bought a Keurig and I love it! It works great and no pot to clean! Good luck.
Don't know about the other one but I love my Keuring......Great price at Bed, bath beyond and use their coupons...You can also buy the coffee there at a great price with the coupons!!!

My office has a Keurig and it is awesome. Make sure that you get it at a place with good returns though (Costco is good for this). It seems (according to Consumer Reports), that some of the motors after 2007 have some issues. I could be wrong about the motor, but it is something that has had issues since 2007, and has caused some returns. Even with that, I think I would still opt for the Keurig.
LOVE my Keurig B60 Special Edition!! Best part is not having to wash out the pot and refill the water/coffee every stinking morning for 1 or 2 cups of coffee!!!! YAY Keurig!!
I have one and LOVE it. What i like best of all is that they have a reusable filter I can use with my own coffee, which is a much cheaper and more ecologically responsible way of using it. This machine gave me that option. :)
I still keep the special flavors on hand, which is especially nice when I have company, but i use my fave Dunkin Donuts blend every morning to keep the cost down.
My neighbor has a Keurig and is CRAZY about it. She has 4 kids and loves that they can heat water for cocoa or whatever themselves so easily in it.
